Refunds are unfortunately a part of online business and sometimes they have to be issued for a variety of reasons. Below are the steps to issue refunds from your Rebelity backoffice.
- Log into your account
- Navigate to the Reports menu under Apps and Tools dropdown
3.Select the event from the dropdown list of your events
4. Select the particular instance of the event
5. You can search for ticket holders by first or last name, their email address, phone number, or the last 4 digits of the card used for purchase.
NOTE:Sometimes, if ApplePay is used, the last 4 digits of the card are randomized so you may need to use email, phone or other field to identify the ticketholder.
6. Once you have found the purchase, you can click the Refund button to open the refund dialog.
7. You can issue a Full Refund or
8. You can issue a Partial Refund by selecting the partial Refund tab and entering the amount to refund.
9. DONE! The refund process is completed on your end. Refunds are usually immediate, and customers are immediately notified of the refund, but it can take up to 2-3 business days depending on their issuing bank.
NOTE: Funds have to be available in your Stripe account for Refunds to process. Otherwise you will receive an error message notifying you that the refund cannot be processed.
ADDITIONALLY: You can also view the issued tickets and cancel them if needed using the view tickets button next to the refund button.
