Connecting the Card reader to Internet

a. To connect the card reader for the first time via WIFI or Hotspot;

1. Turn it on

2. To connect via WIFI,

I. Swipe right on the reader screen and press the settings button.

II. Enter code 07139 to enter the settings

III. Select the Network option and choose your network.

IV. Wait for it to connect. Once it has connected to your network, you can open the Bistro app on the tablet and proceed to connect the reader as usual following the steps below.
*Reader must be on and connected to the internet before you open the Bistro app.

b. To connect the card reader for the first time via Ethernet

To connect the reader via Ethernet, you will need a cradle. Place the reader in the cradle and make sure it is *plugged in to a power source. Plug the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port and make sure the reader is connected.

*The cradle needs to be powered for the Ethernet connection to work.
